Other things what I have been doing

So I'm doing a series of large scale thingies using gouache and cutting-bits-out-so-you-can-see-the-flourescent-stuff-I-put-underneath. It is tentatively titled 'All is ash and sorrow: scenes from my email inbox' and is to do with fire. Not that you can tell.





You will note that my skills when it comes to photographing my work have not improved. Nor, if I were honest, have I tried any harder.

The shading on the face hasn't scanned too well, but you'll mostly have to take my word for that.

Today

talismen, a prayer for flight and a wish for better, now.

I lied about 'new stuff'. Stupid not having a scanner. But then, everything is new if I haven't posted it. So, in that spirit, a rather old drawing. In memory of my cursed wisdom tooth. May God rest it's soul.
