So I'm doing a series of large scale thingies using gouache and cutting-bits-out-so-you-can-see-the-flourescent-stuff-I-put-underneath. It is tentatively titled 'All is ash and sorrow: scenes from my email inbox' and is to do with fire. Not that you can tell.
You will note that my skills when it comes to photographing my work have not improved. Nor, if I were honest, have I tried any harder.
I did/have a spoken word act, 'Somme Like It Hot (or how I learnt to pack up my troubles and love the war)', that I performed in Preston this Summer as part of their Tringe festival. It meant that drawing was on the backburner for a bit. This in no way justifies not updating for three months, but what can I say? I like the drawing stuff, I like the uploading stuff a lot less. The spoken word piece had an illustrated slideshow, a few of which are shown here. Without context they mean nothing, but take my word for it when I say that, with commentary, this shit is HILARIOUS.
And one promoting a spoken word event written and performed by, uh, me:

God, it's been ages. I've had to put drawing stuff on the backburner in the short term as all of my spare would-be drawing time has been spent working on some writing. However, I have been doing jobs when people have asked it of me, so here are two posters done for a club night and a gig.

Sorry, I haven't updated for ages. So here are LOADS of russian dolls, in an effort to make up for it.
Jack of few trades, master of none; I live in a rickety house where I draw stuff and colour it in. I'm not as twee as this makes me seem. Until I take up knitting.
